A :The name of the person locked up, the jail and the bond amount.
Q: What are the minimum bonds in Mississippi?
A: A minimun bond written in the State of Mississippi is $100.00 plus, a $50.00 dollar processing fee
or total of $150.00 for the bond.
Q: How much does it cost to post a bond for someone?
A: The fee is 10% of penal sum plus $50.00 dollar processing fee.
A: The Bonding will be 15% of the bond plus, $50.00 dollars processing fee.
Q: When can a bond be done?
A: Most jails allow bonding 24 hours. But Harrison County, and Hancock County Sheriff, doesn't allow bonding after 9:30pm. And no earlier then 6:00am. No Agents or allow at the Sheriffs doing after hours.
Q: When I bond someone out, what exactly am I responsible for?
A: You are responsible for making sure that the individual makes all scheduled court dates.
Q: What happens if someone I bonded out does not go to court?
A: We then start an investigation from Fugitive Recovery Dept. to find the person.
Q: How long am I responsible for the bond?
A: You are responsible, for as long as the case goes on, till a verdict is rendered.
Q: What if the person is found guilty?
A: The verdict does not matter, we are only guaranteeing the individual will be in court.
Q: How do I know when the person is suppose to appear in court?
A: When the person is bonded out the next court date is given then. Each court date can be checked with the Clerk's office.
Q: What if the person I bonded out is not going to go to court?
A: Contact us and we will arrest the individual and return him to the custody of the jail. Contact Bondsman, or
Bail Agents. Or Aw Shucks Bail Bonding Office.
